Wes Jeans started playing at age 15. Nine months later he placed second in the International Jimi Hendrix Competition. Around 97 I got to see Wes play in Hot Springs at the Ohio Club, a very small venue for music. I was impressed by this teenager and have been following his music since. Here are a few shots from him playing this past Saturday in Hot Springs, this time at Maxine’s on Central. Wes will be playing at Cajun’s in Little Rock on Feb. 20th so if you like really good electric blues come out and meet this amazing guitarist and good guy.
